The BCDP Volunteer & Internship Guidelines

We can only accept international Interns or Volunteers, if funds are available for matching you with a local student.

For selected Bangladeshi students we offer limited financial assistance, if the Internship is availed in support of a Masters or PhD dissertation in collaboration with BCDP.

The minimum duration of an Internship or Voluntary stage with us is generally one month.

We will only cover basic accommodation costs (in the Dolphin House, Khulna, and in the field) during your stay. All other expenses must be covered by you.

You are responsible for your own travel, health and medical insurance.

We give preference to candidates with previous experience in the fields of environmental or life sciences, marine or conservation biology, or education. A degree in a related subject is favored.

You will share assigned tasks that may include field work, data analysis, maintenance or educational outreach activities.

If you are interested in joining the BCDP Team as an Intern or Volunteer, please send your CV together with a cover letter stating your interests and preferred working period to edu@shushuk.org.
